With so many airlines upgrading their business class seats, it’s no surprise that Delta Air Lines has jumped on the bandwagon as well. In 2017, passengers will be able to experience the world’s first all-suite business class seat, “Delta One”, aboard Delta’s Airbus A350s.
Delta One will feature a sliding door, giving you the utmost privacy that you can experience in business class—a fully-enclosed suite that’s usually only seen in first class cabins.
In addition to the private space, Delta One offers you your own stowage area for shoes, headphones and laptops, a universal power outlet, a USB port, and an 18-inch monitor where you can enjoy hours of entertainment.
If you want to catch a few zzz’s the memory foam seat converts into a 180 degree fully-flat bed, and you’ll receive Westin Heavenly® bedding (oversized white comforter and hypoallergenic, down-alternative pillows).
And don’t worry about having to step over your neighbour because each seat has a direct isle access due to the 1-2-1 configuration.
Meals are curated by region and paired with wines selected by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, winner of three James Beard awards.
You can enjoy a variety of cuisines, from Southern Italian to South American—their celebrity chef team creates gourmet menus that are divine.
If you have special dietary needs such as gluten-free, kosher, or you are diabetic, Delta One offers 17 different unique meals available for their Delta One passengers.
Delta has recently update their TUMI amenity kits featuring Kiehl’s Since 1851 skincare products. You can now choose between a hard or soft, sleek and trendy TUMI amenity case.
You will also be provided with noise-cancelling headphones and pyjamas on select flights.
If you are flying on Delta One, you will be able to use the Sky Priority® service (expedited security, Premium Boarding and baggage handling). You’ll also enjoy complimentary access to Delta Sky Clubs® and their network of SkyTeam® lounges around the world.
Delta One will be available on all long-haul international flights and all cross-country flights between JFK and LAX or SFO.
