According to recent travel forecasts, 2017 will see a slow but upwards growth for U.S. customers traveling domestically at a rate of 1.4 percent, as well as internationally (the international travel growth rate from last year was over 3 percent).

And although Americans are very busy to travel often, it doesn’t mean that they’ll be spending less. In fact, according to a survey done by Choice Hotels International, travel budgets will go up about 42 percent.
