Flying aboard British Airways A380 in Club World (Business Class), is comfortable and spacious with great service and mouth-watering meals inspired by some of the world’s top chefs. The airline has dedicated time and effort to allow passengers in Business Class to enjoy a smooth ride to their next destination without having to worry about anything except relaxing and arriving refreshed and fed.

If you are looking to fly Club World, here’s what you can expect from check-in until you arrive at your final destination.

Checking In

If you’re worried you’ll wait in long lines at the airport to check in, don’t. Club World passengers have their own line with quick check-in and a designated line for security that you’ll fly right through. For those who want to skip the kiosks, online check-in is always an option.

Lounging

Club World gives you access to their Galleries Lounge as well as the Terraces Lounge (although there’s not much difference between the two). You also get a complimentary 15 minute spa service at Elmis Travel Spa, currently only located in London Heathrow and New York JFK airports.

Each lounge is equipped with comfortable seats, free Wifi access, fine wine, a brilliant selection of chilled champagne, and self serve food stations.

There are also work spaces, although we’ve seen some British Airways lounges like that in Rome, which really lack an office space. While other BA lounges in Heathrow, for instance, have showers and even a 20 seat cinema to enjoy a game or catch up on the latest news.

Seating

The real magic happens when you get to relax and enjoy the comforts of Business Class. That’s why you bought a ticket in this cabin in the first place, right?

The A380 has 97 seats for Club World with 44 located on the main deck and 53 seats on the upper deck. The main deck is arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration, while the upper deck is configured 2-3-2. Sources say that the best seats are the ones in the upper deck, offering you a more spacious design with a side storage area on each seat. Seats in D, E and F are in the middle of the cabin, and may not be the best choice if you want privacy. For the best seats, choose A or K.

All Club World seats are fully flat, measuring about 72 inches for the seat pitch, and 20 inches for the width. There’s a 10.4 inch touch screen entertainment system with a side panel, allowing you to control the channels without having to reach over to touch the screen each time.

As you get to your seat, you’ll be greeted with a memory foam headrest, pillow, quilted blanket, noise-cancelling headphones and amenity kit containing socks, eye mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, and Elemis skincare products. You’ll arrive refreshed and ready to conquer the day!

Dining

British Airways doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the cuisines served on board. Inspired by some of the world’s top chefs, the Club World menu offers ravishing flavours for a unforgettable experience. You will have the chance to dine on a three-course meal that are healthy as much as they are tasty, combined with thirst-quenching drinks (wine, champagne, spirits). How does slowbraised Herefordshire beef cheek and mature Cheddar cheese potato au gratin, with baby shallots and gingered carrots sound? Or, fillet of cod with almond sataystyle sauce, steamed jasmine rice and aubergine curry? And if you’re hungry at anytime during the flight outside of the scheduled meals, you have access to treats and snacks from their Club Kitchen.

Regardless is you’re flying short or long haul, British Airways Club World presents you with luxurious seats, intimate service, VIP lounge access and curated menus to transport you to your next destination in comfort and style.
