Virgin Atlantic released a new business class seat for their A330 dubbed the “Love Suite”, perfect for partners traveling together—a similar approach for couples that Singapore Airlines and Qatar has also taken when designing their new business class.
Aside from the Love Suites, the airline named its other upper-class seats “Solo Freedom Suites” and “Solo Corner Suites” for those traveling as an individual.
Beginning this month, passengers can experience these new seats, which some of you may recognize as AirBerlin’s old seats many called the “honeymoon”.
There are three Love Suites in the middle of the airplane, which can sit up to six travelers, allowing them to watch films, eat and work together without the disturbance of neighbors.
For those seated in a Solo Corner Suite can enjoy some privacy, with a seat positioned in a way that offers an amazing view of the sky. If you’re seated in a Solo Freedom Suite, you’ll have the ability to lie down in comfort while having easy access to the aisle. But don’t let that fool you, all seats convert into a fully-flat bed. The difference is in the was of access to the aisle and position of the seat.
