The new first class suites on Emirates, China Eastern, and Emirates recently released are so luxurious, it’s impressive how far we’ve come in providing the ultimate comfort for those paying top dollar.
Now, Oman Air has released its first class suite that is set to take flight in several years on their Dreamliner, featuring an enclosed space with 4.6-foot walls with controlled doors that slide open and close at the touch of a button.
The width of the seat in an upright position measures 23 inches with a seat pitch of 82 inches. Once you’re ready to lay down and sleep, the seat converts into a fully flat bed that measures 30 inches in width and 76 inches in length.
Aside from the seat, Oman first class suite features a small closet for you to hang your coat and jacket and another section for your carry-on. There’s also two tables, one for all the cocktails you order, and the other for the world-class Middle Eastern cuisines. But that’s not all. There’s a minibar located on the side, as well as an extra mini seat across from you where your travel partner can sit and chat with you (there’s a seatbelt attached, so even during turbulence, everyone’s safe).
And as with all first class seats, Oman Air first class suite offers you hours of entertainment on a screen measuring 22 inches, a touchscreen controller for the TV screen and seat, USB and AC power ports.
We won’t be able to experience this new design for another few years, but once it takes off, it will be a show-stopper. For a preview of this premium cabin, check out the video below, courtesy of Oman Air.
