Futuristic travel technology some of us only dreamed of seems very likely to happen. One of the newest additions to the list includes AURA—the first extravagant flight experience coming to the US.

Developed by ZED Aerospace, AURA is a new interior design for the commercial airline, combining the luxurious amenities you get from a private jet with the price of a standard plane ticket. This new concept has been curated by fusing Swiss and American Art Deco designs, creating a type of elegance you don’t see much here in the US.

When it comes to seating, there will be two classes available: first and signature. Interestingly, signature (which we feel is more like a business class) has been named “FIRST”, consisting of 21 seats that are 20 inches wide and 44 inches long, the longest on any domestic route in the US. First class, named WAVE, is more along the lines of extreme luxury that’s comparable to a private jet. WAVE only has 8 seats that are zero-gravity (meaning they have been designed the same way that seats on spaceships are).

Some of the most fascinating features include OLED lighting on the ceiling that can transform into a night sky or gorgeous sunset, and have been installed into windows which can display various information including maps and flight route. There are also iPad Pro’s for entertainment screens on every seat, fast Wi-Fi (not like the type you currently receive on most other airlines), and VR camera experiences where you can get a 360 degree view of the outside.

If you’re sitting in WAVE, you can use the Book The Cook service that allows you to choose meals that will be made while you’re flying. Those sitting in FIRST will be given cuisines from around the world. And regardless of which class you’re sitting in, fresh sushi and a full bar is available throughout the flight. If you’re picky, note that meals can be pre-ordered 24 hours before your flight.

Looking for special treatment beyond what you will already receive? Join to be a Founding KeyHolder and you’ll have access to secret pricing, updates on new launches, invitations and so much more.

Flights start at $280 one-way, and will travel to and from the following airports in the US: Miami, Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York City, Denver and Chicago. One important thing to note is that you will only be able to get to the airplane 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, so for all those who tend to be late to flights, this is the one for you!

AURA will be installed on the Bombardier CRJ700 airplane, with flights launching in 2019! Ready for a virtual inside tour? Check out the video below, courtesy of AURA.
