Security has become such an essential part of traveling, and with so many choices, finding the best one to keep your belongings safe can take some time. So to help you get the best travel security gadgets out there to keep thieves out, here’s a list of some of the ones we feel are at the top of the market.

Padlocks are out and Benjilock is in. This lock uses biometrics that allows you to open it up with a touch of your finger, and storing up to 10 distinct prints. Benjilock can go with you anywhere, and stay charged for up to six months! Whenever it does run low on battery, simply plug it in via a USB and it will be back up and working, securing your most valuable possessions. In case you forget to charge it, the Benjilock comes with a spare set of keys.
You also never have to worry about the weather with this security gadget, as it is resistant to water (as well as thieves). Keep your mind at peace with this mini lock when you travel from one place to another, or use it at your workplace, gym or even your home.

Another travel security gadget we love is the AirBolt—a lock for your luggage that not only is approved by TSA, but also is controlled via Bluetooth from an app on your smartphone.
The app has several useful features pertaining to safety, including tracking your bag whenever it gets out of range. And even if there’s someone with AirBolt nearby, the “lock uses their Bluetooth to bounce the location back to you”. And that’s not all, you can also generate a code on your phone that you can then use on the lock in case you don’t have your phone with you, or if your phone dies.
The AirBolt does require a charge via a micro-USB, but can last anywhere between six to twelve months once fully charged.

Although a mini lock can keep your belongings safe while traveling, you can’t always attach it to every piece of bag. As a result, having a bag that is anti-theft can be life-saving! Our choice is the LocTote, which is almost indestructible—you can’t tear through it, you can’t slash a knife through it, water won’t be able to seep through it, and the lock is extremely hard to break.
The material is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, technical fibers, nylon and steel—the same type of fabric that was created for us in body armor.
Aside from the material, LocTote comes with a combination lock, and a strap that’s made from steel cables with a breaking strength of 1,000 pounds. The inside is lined with fleece, so feel free to store your 13-inch laptop without worrying about someone snatching it from the inside. It’s the perfect piece for all types of travelers.
