Singapore Changi was named the Best Airport in the World for 2019, making it the seventh consecutive year the airport has retained its spot at number one. Aside from the best airports in the world list, there are other Skytrax award categories such as Best Regional Airports, which goes even further into a list of the top ten airports in each region. For North America, Denver International Airport (DIA) has made it to the number one spot for 2019, a small jump from number two in 2018. Last year, Vancouver International Airport was voted number one, whereas this year, Vancouver completely fell off the list.

In 2018, DIA started renovating to expand all of its concourses, which will be completed in 2022 and costs a total of $1.5 billion USD to build. The fresh redesign will be able to accommodate another third of what it currently can handle when it comes down to passenger capacity. Moreover, the new terminal will have state-of-the-art technology, more dining and shopping options, and even an outdoor area for travelers to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

DIA also made it to the number three spot for the Best Airport Staff in North America—Seattle-Tacoma took first place in this category, followed by Vancouver. Check out the list below to see what other airports in North America made it to the top ten.
