All Nippon Airways (ANA) released a new business and first class seat on the A380. That same new business class seat dubbed “The Room” is now available on the Boeing 777-300ER, and it’s nothing short of spectacular. For those who love to travel in a business class seat that’s completely closed off like that found on Delta, Qatar and China Eastern, then you’ll love The Room business class.

Set in a 1-2-1 layout, The Boeing 777-300ER has a total of 64 business class seats divided into three sections. Some seats are forward-facing while others are in reverse. The design is a mix of Japanese wood and grey textures, creating a type of elegance found inside a high-end hotel room. And since The Room business class can be completely closed off on all ends, regardless of where you’re sitting, you’ll truly feel like you’re in a small hotel room above the clouds. Sitting solo? The aisle seats are the best. Traveling together? The seats in the middle section are your best bet to enjoy the flight together, with a middle divider that can be raised and lowered with a touch of a button.

The Room business class seat is very spacious, measuring 53-inches of pitch, 72-inches of bed length and 35-inches of seat width. There’s a 24-inch, 4K entertainment screen ideal for watching your favorite shows and films, or even to view the sky, moon and/or sun via the clear, exterior airplane camera. The Room also features a spacious footrest that’s perfect for even the taller folk, intuitive and easy-to-use buttons to switch the reading lights on/off and maneuver the seat, a separate controller for the entertainment screen, and a side panel where you’ll find magazines, the USB and AC sockets, two netted pockets and a handy mirror. If you don’t want to use the controller, you can connect your smartphone device to the entertainment screen and use that as the controller instead.

Other features include a very large side table, a large tray table, decent (but not the best) Sony noise-canceling headphones, two pillows and a plush blanket made from 100% Egyptian cotton, an award-winning Air Cyclone® mattress pad by Nishikawa, pajamas, slippers and a Globe-Trotter amenity kit. The kit contains face wash, lotion and cream by Sekkisei, as well as a toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask, earplugs, comb, and wipes for face and body. From the amenities to the hard product, The Room is one of the best business class seats currently available, and once you experience it, you’ll never want to fly any other business class seat.

The Room is available to and from Tokyo and London, with 12 more Boeing 777-300ERs on the way, all of which will feature The Room business class.
