The anticipated Boeing 777x aircraft have completed their flight tests, which means airlines are eagerly waiting for their orders of the most efficient twin-aisle jet. Among the handful of carriers, Singapore Airlines is one of them, and they have something new in store for its premium passengers.

It’s been almost ten years since Singapore Airlines has updated its business class and first class seats, which is why we can’t wait to see these upgraded seats on the Boeing 777x.

Although the seats won’t make their presence for another two years in 2022, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Airlines, Goh Choon Phong, assures the seats will be a huge step forward from what the airline currently offers.

Phong also said that Singapore Airlines, “will, of course, be going out to [their] customers to get better ideas about what they really want in the next quantum leap of [Singapore Airline’s] product.” The end result will be a combination of customer feedback and current trends that will make Singapore Airlines’ product stand out above others.

The exact seat and what it will encompass has yet to be revealed, but stay tuned as more information will be disclosed in the coming months. Will there be sliding doors? We can only hope. It’s also said that these new premium seats and aircraft will replace the current Boeing 777. Are you ready for Singapore Airlines Boeing 777x new business and first class seats?
