Last year, Air Canada released a phenomenal new business class available on their Dreamliners, and this year, have opened up a brand new lounge located in LaGuardia Airport Terminal B, which has also just been remodeled.

Air Canada’s Vice President of Product, Andrew Yiu, stated, “We are excited to welcome Air Canada and Star Alliance eligible customers to our new LaGuardia Airport Maple Leaf Lounge, which has been created to enhance the overall travel experience for our premium customers.” Air Canada business class lounge in LaGuardia has been designed with “maple wood screen walls” and decorated with furniture from Canadian craftsmen to create “a calm environment in which to work or relax before their Air Canada flight,” said Yiu. Let’s venture inside Air Canada’s newest lounge to see what it’s all about.

Air Canada’s business class lounge in LaGuardia spans 7,015 square feet and can accommodate up to 126 travelers. The lounge offers travelers a space to relax and watch the latest game or film on their flat-screen TV or catch up on some work. There are a few computers and a printer located on a separate counter area, open to use for those who don’t have their own laptop or need to print something last-minute.

The space is also very open, and Air Canada decided to add large, transparent glass panels to allow travelers to see the concourse and observe planes taxi, land and lift off from the runways. This also is a great way to get as much natural light as possible during the day.
